Join us for a joyful and historic celebration! This year our church marks 30 years as a Reconciling Church, proudly recognized as the first Reconciling congregation in Michigan through the ministry of the Reconciling Ministries Network within the United Methodist Church. For three decades we have committed ourselves to living out Christ’s call to love, welcome, and include all people.
Bring your lawn chairs and join us at McCormick Park on Sunday, June 21 at 10:00 AM for this special outdoor worship celebration.
We are honored to welcome our Bishop, David Alan Bard, who will join us for this milestone occasion.
Our celebration will also feature powerful music from the 50-voice community choir LanSing Out, whose ministry lifts up LGBTQ+ voices and allies throughout the Lansing area.
Parking near the park may be limited. Please consider parking in our church lot, where a shuttle will be available to bring you to the park.
Come celebrate with us as we give thanks for the past, rejoice in the present, and recommit ourselves to the path of welcome and inclusion for the future.
All are welcome. All belong.
Please stay tuned for further announcements regarding lunch and back-up plans if the weather doesn't cooperate.
