Wu Xing Reiki (Five Element Reiki)
About this Event
Reiki is the gentle and yet incredibly powerful energy work began by the late Mikao Usui. Reiki is generally taught in three phases, or levels. Level One is all about self-care, Level Two is about learning to practice on others, Level Three is about learning to train others and truly master the art of energy work.
Wu Xing Reiki was developed by Gary Williams, combining the concepts of the 5 Phases or 5 Elements (Wu Xing) in Chinese Medicine with the gentle healing nature of Reiki. The style includes additional diagnositic tools such as pulse diagnosis to help the practitioner to better understand the energetic imbalances of their clients. It builds off of the traditional teachings of Reiki rather than replacing them.
This workshop builds on lessons learned in your previous Level 1 and 2 Reiki Trainings (which can be from other teachers) as well as his pre-recorded 5 Element Series.
Students of Asian Bodywork or Acupuncture do not need to view those pre-recorded classes, but students outside of that training do need to.
Message him regarding any questions BEFORE purchasing your ticket.
The Wu Xing Reiki workshop covers:
- Basic Pulse Diagnosis
- Integrating the notions of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water Phases of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Reiki
- Using the symbols for those elements in addition to the classic ones used in Usui and Tibetan Reiki.
- A special flow of hand positions to help deeply ground your clients
- Your attunement and certification in this truly unique style of Reiki!
Come continue your Reiki jouney with me!
Hello there, I'm Gary Williams. I'm a Certified Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher and Licensed Acupuncturist. I'm co-owner and operator of Smiling Buddha Bodywork (along with my husband, Markus). I have been helping people to relax, rebuild, and restore since beginning my training in Asian Healing Arts in 2010. My goal in my workshops, as well as my sessions, is to help you improve your quality of life - even if that change seems subtle. Even the small, subtle changes that we make in our lives can lead to major shifts in the world around us. If you can't join me for this event, then be sure to follow along or message me to schedule a session!
