WTF is a weekly, nonprofit Fusion dance event in Seattle that highlights under-represented dancers. Start with a drop-in class, followed by 2.5 hours of dancing! This month, in honor of Easter Swing, we are very excited to have Lia Brown with us to teach a month long progressive West Coast Swing class!
Lia Brown has been dancing West Coast Swing for over a decade. She is an accomplished competitor, teacher and performer with additional backgrounds in gymnastics, modern dance, balet, Lindy hop, Charleston, Blues, DJing and psychology. In 2018, she played a key role in degendering Classic and Showcase divisions by winning the Rising Star tour with her routine partner, Helen Chao. She currently teaches locally in Seattle, Washington.
