“Snake Milk” In the booming revival of 80’s nostalgia , EBM and post-punk sound, SNAKE MILK is cultivating a unique sound, braving the genre with bold vocals and haunting yet satirical narratives. Taking influence from artists such as Grace Jones, Kate Bush, Pat Benetar and Annie Lennox. The Project was envisioned and created by front woman Joy Tyson in 2019 after many years of fronting more traditional bands and working for various producers as a vocalist and writer. Making her 80’s fantasy come true , With the help of friend and accomplished producer Skelesys (AKA Damian FS) they worked together to create the soundscape for the Debut tracks of Snake Milk .Joy’s prerogative as an artist is to create a sensory experience which can transport the audience into various worlds and narratives, to experience something beyond the limits our daily personas allow for. Snake Milk Presents a ceremony for the sinners and a cordial invitation to partake in the unholy sacrament of Serpentine cream.
Snake Milk aka Joy Tyson dropped her debut album „Darkness with Pommes“ on Oberwave Records last year.
Romance and passion, light and darkness, deep vocals and mechanical rhythms, authentic coldwave and modern dark disco. With tracks which set fire to the dance floors and melting hearts not only on last summer festivals like Bucht der Träumer & STM Festival.
