About this Event
Highly recognized, diverse and fully supported, WSU Master Gardener volunteers are the go-to resource for communities seeking research-based, innovative solutions for their ever-changing horticulture and environmental stewardship needs.
This is an 11-month training course comprising approximately 125 hours of in-class and virtual instruction, at-home assignments, and field trips. Training occurs on the third Tuesday from 9am to 3pm* from January to November but we offer rolling enrollment so trainees can join anytime.
An additional technology fee of $75 is paid directly to Washington State University and includes a flash drive containing numerous digital resources including the 640-page WSU Master Gardener Manual.
* The estimated return time from a field trip to the Puyallup Research and Extension Center is 5 pm.
ATTENTION!
Click on the link below to pay WSU's $75 Academic Outreach and Innovation (AOI) fee. This is required to access the online learning resources, quizzes, and assignments on Canvas (our online training platform).
This fee includes a flash drive containing much of the same resources on Canvas in addition to the digital version of the 640-page training manual.
