WSHFC Homebuyer Class

Our home buyer class is designed to help you prepare for one of life’s biggest milestones and that is becoming a homeowner. Whether you’re a first‑time buyer or simply curious about the process, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence you need to take the next step.

What you will learn:

• We discuss downpayment assistance programs in the State of Washington including the Washington Home Covenant program and how you can qualify.
• We help you get prepared by understanding documents you may need and what lenders look at to qualify you.
• We will discuss home buying options and the process of looking for your home with a real estate agent.

After the class you will be given a certificate to use towards the downpayment assistance program and it is good for 2 years.
