Welcome to Written in Brooklyn's Journal Club; an in-person writing party that makes you feel like you’re sitting at the coolest lunch table in the cafeteria. With generative writing prompts centered around that week’s theme, Journal Club is for writers of all levels to gather, explore personal storytelling and spark new ideas.

We’ll fill our notebooks with ideas inspired by guided prompts, share some of what we wrote, meet new friends, and most importantly, feel really smart and cool. This month's theme: mistakes were made.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, process your thoughts, or simply enjoy the act of writing in community, Journal Club offers a welcoming space to put pen to paper. No experience necessary, just bring your favorite notebook, a pen, and an open mind.

Check-in/cocktail hour starts at 6:30. We start writing at 7pm!
