Pantone has selected its color of the year and it is...Cloud Dancer. Described as "a lofty white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection...a billowy white imbued with serenity," it was widely scoffed as a bizarre and boring selection, but as we take on a new year, there is something to the idea of a blank canvas; introspection; creative purity. And what's in a name, anyway? What does Cloud Dancer mean to you? If your vision of this character leapt off the page, what kind of characteristics would they have? Where and how would they exist in the world, real or imagined? In this workshop, we're going to take a page out of Pantone's book and lean into limitless creative energy--a blank slate to be marked and marred by stories and lyricism. We will have a brief intro and then dedicate much of the time to writing and bringing Cloud Dancer to life.
