Our next Writers' Workshop, Booranga Writers' Centre, BLD 410, Mambarra Drive, CSU Campus , Estella (Wagga Wagga) 2 - 4 pm.March Workshop will be led by Damen O'Brien.
Damen is a multi-award-winning poet based in Brisbane. His prizes include The Moth Poetry Prize, the Peter Porter Poetry Prize and the New Millennium Writings Award. His poems have been published in eight countries, nominated for Pushcarts and Best of the Net and highly commended in the Forward Prizes. His poems can be found in Florida Review, Aesthetica, London Magazine, Island and other journals. Damen's latest book is Walking the Boundary (Pitt Street Poetry, 2024).
We invite writers of all abilities, genres and interests to join us with a piece of writing you are working on, to workshop, develop and share with fellow writers. Please bring multiple copies (6 - 8 ) of the work to share around the table for editing purposes. These will be returned to you at the end of the workshop.
