Emily Carr was a master of noticing vignettes within her own life, and she brought them to life with exquisite details. Join this workshop to spend a morning in Emily Carr’s shoes, and create short pieces of writing that delight you. Treat yourself to a morning of writing!
Meet Your Instructor:
Sue Scott, BA, MSc, has been an adult educator for over 40 years and she has studied the craft of writing for over 20 years. Sue considers Robert McKee’s principles of STORY to be a foundational writing influence, and she has received numerous finalist and semi-finalist placements in highly-regarded international screenwriting competitions. Sue is delighted to be revisiting her earlier passion for short story writing, and she welcomes all writers into a supportive writing space. Sue’s workshops are fun, informative, and inspired by life’s magic moments.
