A Sacred Afternoon of Story, Truth, and Release
There are words that live quietly within us,
stories we’ve carried, emotions we’ve held, truths waiting to be witnessed. This writing-to-heal & express workshop is an invitation to gently bring those words to the surface in a space that feels safe, supportive, and deeply human.
Together, Amanda and SZ Putnam will open the space by sharing personal written pieces from their own journeys, offering you a glimpse into the power of expression as a tool for healing.
From there, S.Z. Putnam will guide the group through a thoughtfully led writing session, inviting you to explore your own inner world through words. You’ll be encouraged to write freely, without judgment or expectation, simply allowing what wants to come through to be expressed.
Participants will have the opportunity to share what they’ve written afterward, if they feel comfortable. Sharing is always optional, and every voice is honored exactly as it is.
Cost is $25
To preserve the intimacy and depth of this experience, space is limited to just 14 participants.
About Host, S.Z. Putnam
S.Z. Putnam is a Hmong poet, author, and public speaker who unapologetically writes about the hard things in life. Her debut book, Loose Change: Picking Up the Pieces (2022), is both memoir and testament—an offering rooted in unconditional love for her partner and family. Through her lived experiences with trauma, S.Z. has transformed pain into purpose, creating space for healing conversations and deeper exploration of identity, humanity, and connection within communities.
About Your Host, Amanda Jonas
Amanda Jonas is the heart and hands behind The Green Witch, a space devoted to healing, connection, and remembering the wisdom within. As a green witch, women’s somatic coach, and sound practitioner, Amanda weaves together earth-based practices, intuitive guidance, and soulful presence to create experiences that gently bring people back to themselves. Through her own journey of trauma, self discovery and transformation, she holds space with a deep compassion that invites others to soften, feel, and reconnect with their inner voice.
