About this Event
On Remembrance Day for Lost Species, join us for a creative walk along the Wensum, followed by tea and writing time.
We’ll give writing prompts to feel into species that once thrived in the river habitat, or are vulnerable in the future. At sunset, 3.44 pm, we’ll hold a moment of remembrance and then share our words, and ideas for pooling pieces in a future publication or event.
Hosted by Bridget McKenzie and Helen Baczkowska.
The meeting point will be given to those who book. The pin of Jarrolds Bridge is just to indicate that we will first meet outdoors by the river, somewhere within the city walls. We will walk and stop 3-4 times for some prompted writing. Then we will head to a quiet space where we can get drinks, to write and chat.
Dress for weather!
We are part of Norwich Writers Rebel. We also support the Stop the Wensum Link campaign. This event is free of charge. If you want to donate, you can help the legal costs of this campaign https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/stop-the-wensum-link
