The 41st season of Writing Out Loud, our annual author series, continues with author Ashley C. Ford.
Ashley C. Ford is the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir and Oprah Book, Somebody’s Daughter.
Ford takes us into the world of growing up with a family fragmented by incarceration. Ashley C. Ford is an American writer, podcaster and educator who discusses topics including race, sexuality, and body image. Find out more at www.ashleycford.net
Writing Out Loud was created in 1984 with a grant from Indiana Humanities. Since then, more than 140 authors have appeared at the library. Programs are supported with funds by the Patrons of Writing Out Loud, Michigan City Public Library Endowment Fund, and The Friends of the Library. The Friends of the Library will host a reception following the program.
