You are warmly welcomed to a creative writing workshop exploring the transition from autumn into winter.
Writing for Wellbeing is a series of workshops designed as a safe space to explore self-care through creative writing. This time, we’re looking at how autumn invites us to look inwards, shed and release all we no longer need and prepare to embrace the winter. Winter can be a tough season for many, but there is also such beauty in its colours and darkness, in its quiet and stillness. If you’re looking for ways to support your wellbeing and to retreat into winter in a creative way, this is the workshop for you.
We will meet at the benches outside The Great House Barn in Rivington (there is parking around the barn and at the Rivington Hall Barn, too - we recommended arriving early as spaces fill up quickly). We will then take a short walk up to the Pinetum and explore how the seasons are shifting. There will be time to take lots of photographs before heading back to the barn, where we will wrap up warmly with hot drinks for a series of guided writing activities.

🎟️ Places are £15, including a journal, all writing materials and a gift to take home (drinks can be purchased separately at the barn)
Full payment will be required at the time of booking to secure your space.
