Jason Denzel is a traditionally-published author of epic fantasy stories including The Mystic Trilogy from Tor Books. He's also the founder of a popular Wheel of Time fan community and a long-time resident of Elk Grove.

Georgine Hodgkinson is a professor in communication studies for Cosumnes River College where she served as program coordinator for Re-Emerging Scholars, a program for formerly incarcerated students.
