Writing Competition

This writing competition allows students to demonstrate their writing capabilites. Students will be divided into divisions based on their grade and given an hour to write a prompted essay or story. All writing will be scored with a rubric.

All students grades 2 through 12 are welcome. No students below 2nd grade or above 12th grade are permitted. This event is for Genie Academy enrolled and nonenrolled students.

Note:

Only students who are starting the 2nd grade or above in September are permitted to participate. Registered students in lower grades will not be permitted to compete.

Please view the agenda for check in times. Once you have allotted a specific slot for a time range, you only tranfer to another slot if there are available slots.
