Come out to the Brownwood Community Library on April 10th to hear from local authors, screenwriters, and journalists! Get inspiration from creative writing exercises. Enjoy free tea and biscuits!
What to expect:
-You will hear from local professionals about what inspires them and how they work to become become writers. They will stick around to mentor and talk with people and answer any questions you might have!
-There will be creative writing exercises around the room to explore. You do not need to feel obligated to complete these, they will be there to inspire you if you need it!
-You can bring your own notebook, laptop, tablet, or use the notes app on your phone! We will provide notebook paper and pencils for those who want them.
-We won't ask you to read anything out loud! Introverts rejoice, this is a safe zone! You do not have to talk to anyone or read anything out loud if you don't want.
This event is best suited for ages 13 and up.
