Writer's Lab, Feedback Workshop:
Bring a work in progress to help you improve your piece! Share your poem within a breakout small group to better hear your voice and get feedback from other writers. At Miami Poetry Club, this critique style workshop focuses on providing constructive and supportive feedback, fostering growth through collaboration, and helping you refine your unique voice in a welcoming environment. The poet has the final say in any edits. All writing levels welcome.

An optional writing theme will be shared every month on Instagram.
Limited printing time is available at the venue. If you need your poem printed, email to [email protected] by **6pm on the day of the event. We will print 5 copies that you will pick up upon your arrival. You need to have printed copies of your poem in order to get feedback in the small group.

Important Note:

You can attend and join a small group even if you do not bring a poem. We still request that you email a poem even if you think you might not want to share, so you can be prepared. *This allows us to not interrupt the event to do any additional printing, if you change your mind.
We promise, even on your first event, you will want to share!
