Write ON is a friendly, no pressure creative writing group for amateur and unpublished writers. The sessions are FREE and there is no obligation to subscribe to a long course.Do you have a passion for creative writing and/or poetry? Then this might be the group for you! Experiment with fun prompts and exercises and explore the Galleries’ collection for inspiration! This is a welcoming space where you can chat with fellow writers, share your work and discuss the authors you love – or loathe!
Write ON: Part One
This writing group is led by our very own team members as they guide you through various writing prompts, exercises and activities. Every session is different, on one day you may find yourself up in the Galleries writing in response to a particular painting, or you may find yourself writing for an upcoming exhibition, or perhaps there is an object that you just feel needs to tell it’s story. There are so many opportunities to learn, practice and explore the wonders of Creative Writing.
Sessions run on the second Sunday of the month from 1pm-2pm.
