Welcome to Write-In the New Year

Welcome in 2025 creatively and symbollically with your writing. All levels of screenwriters (beginner, intermediate, seasoned) are welcomed. This class is for you if you

have an idea for a movie or pilot you've been wanting to get on paper?
are you stuck in the middle of your second act
would like to learn screenwriting tools to get you to FADE OUT
would you like to meet other screenwriters in Atlanta

Your instructor and host O. Smith is a working screenwriter. She receieved her MFA in Writing for the Screen and Television from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. O. Smith began her professional writing career working on Issa Rae's Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl, and she is a former winner of the BlueCat Screenplay Writing Contest. She currently teaches Screenwriting and Exploring Black Horror Cinema at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.
