About this Event
Join us to learn the basics of brush lettering/calligraphy and get hands-on experience with instructor support! This is a great class for beginners where we'll take one step at a time and end the class by crafting personalized cards for you to take home!
With Mother's Day in early May, this is a great time to get started on your brush lettering journey! This is also a great date night activity or an opportunity to make new friends. Supplies provided include a workbook, blank cards, and a new brush pen for you to keep.
What You’ll Learn
We’ll introduce you to the basics of modern calligraphy and hand-lettering in a fun, encouraging environment. You’ll explore strokes, spacing, composition, and decorative elements, with plenty of guided practice to build confidence as you go.
What’s Included
You’ll receive everything you need for class — all yours to take home for continued practice:
- A quality brush pen
- Tracing paper & lettering guides
- Cardstock for your final pieces
- A handy beginner guidebook
What You’ll Make
By the end of the workshop, you’ll create a set of personalized greeting cards perfect for the holidays — heartfelt, handmade pieces far more meaningful than anything off the rack. Use them for gifts, display them at home, or tuck them away as keepsakes.
Who This Class Is For
Absolute beginners are welcome, and returning creatives will enjoy a refreshing, confidence-boosting reset. Just bring a favorite quote, phrase, or holiday message you’d love to bring to life in your own hand-lettered style.
Treat yourself to a few cozy, creative hours this season — and walk away with a new skill you’ll use again and again.
🎟️ Seats are limited — reserve your spot and start creating words worth keeping.
Early bird promotion ends April 1st.
