Wright House Concert: Growing Older

Growing older is a journey we all undertake. Storyteller, is one of our guides, using personal reflections and folktales as stepping stones, sharing the wisdom he has gathered along the way.

Jim is a social worker, retired college professor, and documentary filmmaker. As a professional storyteller, he has performed in libraries, bookstores, schools, professional conferences, and community events.

The stories will be best appreciated by adults and young people 10 and older.

is an old brick home in Whitewater, Wisconsin, originally built by the Wright family in 1857. Sarah Beth Nelson, the current owner of the Wright House, will host the concert.

Payment is handled separately from Eventbrite. You can pay for your ticket through PayPal (paypal.me/sarahbethnelson), Venmo (@Sarah-Nelson-339), or by cash at the show. Include a note in PayPal or Venmo that this is for the Wright House Concert. Suggested $10 donation per ticket. If you can not pay $10, consider donating what you are able, bringing a snack to share, or bringing a small handmade gift or card for the performer.

All donations are being collected by Sarah Beth Nelson, the host of the show. 90% of the funds will go to the performers and 10% will go to the house to cover production costs.
