The Wreath Cleanup has been scheduled for February 24, 2026 (Sunday) at 10AM. This event is weather-dependent and I will confirm a few days prior.As of today, we do NOT have anywhere to dispose of the ~1,500 wreaths. This is where our volunteers come in! If you have access to a farm nearby willing to take our wreaths (rubber bands & tags removed, metal backings kept on) or access to a large dumpster or burn pile, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME! It is very important to our process that we have somewhere to take these wreaths - we do not have the funds to dispose of them at a county dump.
We will meet by the statue/ceremony site. Please do not park on the road immediately to either side or in front of the statue. For the wreath clean up, please bring scissors or a pocket knife, gloves and dress warm. Wagons or broomsticks are great as well, so you can bring more back at once!
