Join us in the greenhouse for 1 of our 3 workshops Friday, December 5th - Sunday, December 7th for a festive, fresh wreath-making workshop! This workshop will teach you how to make a fresh wreath from localy sourced evergreens. There will be a brief demonstration, during which we will share decorating tips and model how to add seasonal items to your wreath base. A variety of wreath trimmings, including but not limited to: pinecones, cinnamon, dried oranges, pre-made bows, and more! Photos are samples of previously made fresh wreaths, designs offered for workshops may change from year to year.
We will also be teaching you how to properly care for your fresh wreath to extend its life and beauty. Pine stems used for the workshop may not be exactly as pictured in the sample photos, we make choices to clip the freshest varieties of stems just days before the event. All wreaths will be built on a 10" wreath frame.
The event is approximately one to two hours, starting at 2:00pm at First Bloom Farm in our heated greenhouse; please dress appropriately, it may still be chilly dependingon the weather. When working with fresh pine, there is always a chance of getting sap on your clothes, and you will get sap and some dirt on your hands during the event.
There are no refunds, arrangements will be made to pickup a wreath kit if you cannot attend, or you may transfer to someone else.
