There is no prior experience needed. We teach you everything, lend you the kit and have a ton of fun in the process :-)
Who is WRD?
We are Wirral’s only roller derby league. We train to play flat-track roller derby, a full-contact sport on wheels.
Whether you want to play roller derby, learn how to officiate or just get fit and make friends, we got you!

We are actively recruiting for our WFTDA A and B teams as well as our MRDA team, The Pack Animals. Wirral Roller Derby follows the gender policies of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association and the Men's Roller Derby Association, which can be found below:

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us directly.
We also have the ability to help people learn to officiate either on skates as a ref or as a non-skating official.
Returning skaters and officials are more than welcome.
