WPS training on pesticide safety for handlers and heat stress

This training will provide attendees with information on how to work with pesticides safely to meet WPS criteria for nursery inspection, what the responsibilities are for growers to protect the handlers and workers to mitigate pesticide exposure. This is also a good opportunity to learn how to work properly under heat stress and mitigate the heat hazard to their health. Certificates will be issued to participants as records to meet the FDACS requirements during a nursery inspection. Lunch will be provided.
