Wisconsinites have tuned in to Chapter a Day for nearly 100 years to enjoy beloved stories, spanning fiction, history, and biography. Now, we invite you to join the conversation in person at the Chapter a Day Book Club! No prior WPR or Chapter a Day experience required!

Let’s gather at Pearl Street Books in La Crosse, Wisconsin for a conversation about our featured book, "Shelter and Storm: At Home in the Driftless." It's the perfect opportunity to share your thoughts, connect with fellow readers, and make new friends. Bring your book to Pearl Street Books on Jan. 27 at 12 p.m. or listen to the broadcast here. While this is a free event, seating is limited so tickets are required. We can't wait to see you there!

The book airs from Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 through Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 on both WPR News and WPR Music, but you can also purchase a copy of the book at Pearl Street Books.
