Come on out and join us on Saturday May 2, 2026 at 10:00am for our annual Opening Day ceremony at Donald R. Taylor Memorial Park! Wilhelm Paxtang Baseball Associations Opening Day is always a special day for the community to celebrate the baseball season and spring!
All of our teams, board members, and sponsors will be recognized! We will have several special guest speakers present, music, great food, raffle prizes, baseball games, picture day, an AED ribbon cutting, and much more!
The ceremony will last about 45 minutes in length. The event is open to anyone in the community to attend! Our concession stand will be open all day, and food vendors will be arriving around 9:00am, and will be at the park until around 2:00pm.
Don’t miss our biggest event of the year! Please invite any former Wilhelm Paxtang Baseball alumni, family members, friends, and neighbors to this event! More information regarding the event will be announced weeks leading up to the day of the event. We have a great program planned again this year, and cannot wait to see you there!
We are actively seeking vendors, and accepting raffle prize donation contributions from those who wish to participate or donate. Please contact our Director of Opening Day, Gavin Ford, at [email protected] if interested.

Parking:
• Please be mindful of where you park your vehicle. Do not block driveways, fire hydrants, park in no parking zones etc. Please utilize all blocks surrounding Taylor Park (not just Brisban Street) for parking. There is parking available surrounding the Upper Field, and in Apple Alley next to the Tennis Courts.
