Our closest to Halloween Tasting night this year and who doesn't like dress up and having fun... while learning about what can be among the most challenging of Wine Regions ...of course you know!

The Burgundy wine region (Bourgogne) is in eastern France and is renowned for its elegant terroir-driven wines primarily made from Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites though Gamay and Aligoté are also grown. Its diverse soils cool climate and focus on single-vineyard expressions (Climats) create a wide range of wines with distinct character from its various sub-regions like Chablis the Côte de Nuits Côte de Beaune Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais

Compared to their American styled counterparts among the oldest of old world wines from Burgundy are restrained elegant and very terroir forward as villages and towns each have their unique attributes to share.
The region of Bourgone is not scary at all but for Sommeliers & Wine Enthusiasts knowing producer village and weather of single year with so many micro climates elevations and soil types it can be easy to be overwhelmed. We on the other hand enjoy these bright finished low barrel impacted wines with balanced acidity and character.

We promise there will be no test everyone will leave with more knowledge than when they sat down and if we are all in funny costumes we'll have lots of fun too!
