About the Presenter:
Tasneem Dairywala, an artist, author, and educator, is passionate about creating stories that inspire joy and curiosity in young readers. Her five-year-old is her greatest source of inspiration and motivation for writing books that can shape the minds and hearts of future generations. Tasneem lives in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, in a home filled with books, plants, and laughter. Her published works include The Way You View the World, How to Show Love, and The Little Elf Finds His Spark.

About the Woven Word Symposium:
The Woven Word Symposium, taking place on Thursday, November 28, 2024, is a full-day celebration of storytelling and writing. It brings together authors and aspiring writers for a variety of workshops and events. Participants can explore topics such as writing for children, self-publishing, and memoir writing. The day also offers opportunities to join an open mic poetry session and attend a slam poetry performance. In the afternoon, a Reader's Marketplace will showcase children's, adult, and young adult authors, with their books available for purchase. The event will conclude with a special evening workshop on writing for monologue performance.
