The Western Ozarks Veterans Empowerment Network - WOVEN - Quarterly Exchange (formerly Joining Community Forces Council Meeting) will be Friday April 17, 2026 at the Independent Living Center. The meeting will be another great opportunity to network and provide information on services, events and activities that support the Veterans, Serving Military and their families in our communities. The Heartland Patriots Festival team has assumed the facilitator role for this, and all future WOVEN Quarterly Exchanges and we invite all to attend to share information about services and events. We will begin with introductions at 11:15 AM and move into our main focus for the meeting which is allowing all attendees to provide a brief intro of services and upcoming events. We will have a presentation by Dr. Jeffrey Shane Bradley from the Ozark Center. Stay tuned for more info. The Western Ozarks Veterans Empowerment Network mission is to maximize the impact of community resources to veterans, military members, and families in order to build resilience and foster a community network that is relevant and sustainable both now and into the future. This is an endeavor of local nonprofit organizations to bring together service providers, Veteran Service Organizations, faith-based organizations, private entities, government agencies and others that support serving military, veterans and family members. The goal of WOVEN is to create a community centered solution, whereby national, regional, state, and local entities can partner and exponentially impact the communities in which they live.
