Woven Keychain Workshop with Yarn Hoarder Goods

Join us for a fun, hands-on and in-person workshop where you’ll craft your very own woven keychain! Perfect for all skill levels, this is your chance to get creative with colorful yarns and learn how to weave on a small frame loom from Yarn Hoarder Goods. Bring your friends or come solo—either way, you’ll leave with a unique accessory and maybe a new crafty hobby!

WORKSHOP DETAILS

All supplies are provided. There are four weaving patterns to choose from, along with curated selections of quality cotton yarns and coordinating hardware. Using a small, wooden frame loom from Yarn Hoarder Goods, you'll be shown how to create a keychain using simplified overshot weaving techniques. This style of weaving is thought to have originated in ancient Persia before becoming widely popular in Europe by the 1800s.

All ages are welcome but this workshop is best experienced by ages 15 and older. Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please make sure you are able to attend before purchasing a ticket as we will not be able to issue a refund. You are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else in your place if you are no longer able to attend; however, this must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance of the workshop to the host.
