Join us this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Fauquier County Public Library- Warrenton!
Get creative with plants and textiles! Kids and teens will make their own miniature tapestry using an assortment of materials, from cotton and dried plant fibers to fresh flowers, recycled T-shirts, and colorful yarn. Along the way, discover how plants can become useful fibers and materials, then experiment with weaving and crochet to create a unique piece of art.
Each month, OSGF partners with local libraries to offer a new, free, nature-inspired activity designed to spark curiosity and connection with the natural world. Don’t miss October’s program—and follow along to discover each month’s new theme!
Walk-ins welcome. Visit your library’s website at the link provided for more details.
