If you own horses—or want to feel more confident caring for them—this clinic is designed to take you from “not sure what to do” to hands-on capable.
This full-day workshop teaches practical herbal first aid for wounds, plus the deeper work of doctoring the fields your horses rely on. You’ll learn how herbs support healing, how to prepare them safely, and how to use them both on the wound and in the environment.
What the day looks like:
• Warm group icebreaker + guided white-board discussion
• Live horse anatomy & wound-evaluation demo
• Rotating hands-on stations where you’ll:
– Work directly with herbs
– Make your own healing blend
– Practice real-world wound care techniques
• Field doctoring foundations: how land health impacts wound healing
This clinic brings together 4-H families, ranchers, homesteaders, and beginners who want practical skills they can use immediately.
