About this Event
New Mexico Peer Support Network Convening April in Northern New Mexico
Will will meet to support existing and new provider agencies, peer support workers, and policymakers to increase understanding of the value of peer support workers in diverse environments, strengthen multidisciplinary behavioral health teams, improve client outcomes, and positively impact the health and wellbeing of children and families.
***This event is limited to indiviudals that work within New Mexico communities.
This gathering is designed to:
- Connect previous pilot project Network participants and welcome new statewide partners.
- Discuss critical areas in peer support including supervision, technical assistance, billing, ethics, workforce development, policies, sustainability.
- Understand, prioritize, and advance goals of the Peer Support Network to improve, expand, and sustain peer support services.
Travel stipends are available for those travelling to Farmington, with lodging included for those that travel more than 100 miles. Please contact us if you have questions.
