After 43 years of service in the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Mark
Broadhead retired in October of 2023. Following his studies at
Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he
served congregations in Webster, New York, West Hartford, Connecticut, Orlando, Florida, Tallahassee, Florida, Maysville, Kentucky, Crestview and Laurel Hill, Florida. Within the denomination he has served on and chaired various committees in Presbytery and Synod settings: Christian Education, Evangelism, Committee on Ministry, Spiritual Development, and Congregational Revitalization. In retirement he has been serving as the Stated Clerk/Acting General Presbyter for the Presbytery of Florida since August 2024. Mark has been married to Celia for 46 years, and they are the proud parents of twin daughters, Carolyn and Laura, and their spouses and children.
