Worship in English on Easter Sunday

Come celebrate Easter Sunday — the heart of the Christian year and the joyful proclamation that Christ is risen.

We gather in festival worship with traditional liturgy, triumphant hymns, proclamation of the resurrection, and Holy Communion. Easter is not only a day of celebration, but the great turning point of the Christian story: light breaking into darkness, life overcoming death, hope rising where despair once stood.

Easter proclaims the central confession of the Christian faith:
Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.

This is not only a memory of something long ago. It is the promise that God is still at work in the world — bringing life where there is death, healing where there is brokenness, and hope where there is fear. Easter declares that no darkness has the final word.

Our Easter service follows the historic shape of Christian worship:

• Scripture readings that tell the story of resurrection
• Proclamation of the good news
• Prayers of thanksgiving and hope
• Joyful hymnody
• Holy Communion — the feast of the risen Christ

At the table, we are invited to share in Christ’s victory and to receive again the promise of new life.

All who seek Christ are welcome at the table. You do not need to be a member of the church. If you are baptized in any Christian tradition, you are invited to receive Communion. If you would like a blessing instead, simply come forward with your arms crossed.

Come and hear the greatest story ever told.
Come and sing with joy.
Come and taste the feast of resurrection.
