The TCHS will welcome our speaker Thomas Prasch, Professor and Chair of the History Department at Washburn University
Innovations in architecture, engineering, foods, and other areas have debuted at fairs across the world including some in the United States. Kansas is home to at least four legacies of significant world’s fairs. This program will focus on the history of these fairs and on the artifacts found today in Lawrence,
Lindsborg, and Wamego.
The meeting begins at 7 with a brief business meeting followed by the historical program.
