It's WorldQuest time! This is JWAC's single largest fundraiser and is an absolute blast. The night includes:-Our famous International Trivia Contest <--It's fantastic! (says the person who writes it...)
-International Buffet with no-host bar
-Silent Auction of goods and experiences
-Silent Auction of fabulous desserts
-Much mirth and merriment (it's not easy to make world trivia fun and happy anymore, but we manage!)
Proceeds allow us to present our expert speaker lineup through the year, and also support the annual JWAC Forum. And we always like to point out that a big chunk of our budget goes to KTOO for filming, so it's like a fundraiser for them, too!
Tickets are $75 for adults, $40 for students. They are available online and at the door:

Online ticket sales will closed by 1:00 PM on Saturday the 31st. Tickets will still be available at the door after this time (and don't worry, we have never run out).
Dress:
Be comfortable first, but after that, semi-formal or international or even ridiculously swanky attire is recommended because there aren't enough opportunities to dress up in Juneau; and in light of the no-host bar, any participants under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Details:
The international trivia contest is a lot of fun and very low-key. Multiple choice questions are projected up on a screen, and each dinner table plays as a team (of very approximately eight). Folks are encouraged to arrange groups beforehand, but teams will also be formed at the event, so don't hesitate to come on your own or in a smaller group. The quiz entails fifty multiple-choice questions covering a wide range of topics. The winning team's moniker goes on the perpetual trophy, and Honor and Glory are bestowed upon all who participate. Doors open at 6:00 (best time to arrive) and we're usually done by 10:00, sometimes even earlier.
