It is World Wetlands Day on 2 February. Wetlands, such as Frampton Marsh, are a vital part of our ecosystem and home though a myriad of special creatures and wildlife. Join this celebration of wetlands around the world by taking part in this special dawn walk. Dawn at the reserve is a special time as the wildlife wakes up for the day. The walk also coincides with a high tide, pushing extra birds off the mudflats of The Wash and into the reserve, meaning an extra special spectacle. The walk will be led by an experienced guide to help identify the wildlife, and explain about the management of the reserve. At the end we will return to the cafe, which will open especially for the group to enjoy a breakfast bap (triple bacon or triple vegetarian sausage) and a hot drink (american coffee or English breakfast tea).Places are limited, advance booking only via: https://events.rspb.org.uk/events/98998
Sorry, no dogs on this event
Toilets are available at the visitor centre at the start and end of the walk
The walk takes place partially over unsurfaced paths, and does include steps
