Welcome to the 2026 Pre-Skim Dance! The Poozies, active for 35 years, pioneered cosmic shape-shifting folk with sass and irreverence, paving the way for women in a male-dominated scene. Anchored by Mary Macmaster’s electro-harp, they have evolved with new members like Michael Bryan and Donald Hay, blending trad-punk, energetic songs, and danceable tunes, continually experimenting and redefining their vibrant, genre-bending sound. Embrace their unique brand of Trad-Punk with defiantly idiosyncratic new music.
