World Sexual Health Day 2026
About this Event
We invite you to celebrate World Sexual Health Day with the Women's Health Research Institute. World Sexual Health Day (WSHD), founded by the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), is officially recognized each year on September 4 and is dedicated to promoting a world where everyone has access to sexual health, justice, rights and pleasure.
Through our annual WSHD event, we aim to uphold WAS's mission by spotlighting research on variety of sexual health topics, and opening a dialogue around the event theme. This year’s theme is Every Body, which asks us to consider whose voices, bodies, and contexts are still missing from the conversation, and how embracing new perspectives can help us build better systems and practices for supporting sexual health.
Join us on Tuesday, September 8th for a free hybrid event featuring guest speakers and rapid-fire presentations on sexual and reproductive health research led by trainees.
