The World Salsa Fest Los Angeles is a premier annual event that has been a tradition in the city for over 23 years, typically held during Memorial Day Weekend. The 2026 festival is scheduled for May 22–24, 2026, at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport.2026 Festival Highlights
• Main Headliner:
The legendary salsa singer José Alberto “El Canario” will perform a live concert on Saturday, May 23, 2026, celebrating his 50-year artistic career.
• Dance Workshops:
Led by top international and local instructors, workshops cover various styles like Salsa, Bachata, and Casino for all levels.
• Performances:
Over 500 dancers from around the world—including New York, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Italy, Spain and Japan—showcase choreographed routines.
• Social Activities:
The event features daily pool parties with guest DJs and social dancing that often continues until 6:00 AM.
• Kids Latin Dance Showcase:
A dedicated performance platform for young talent will take place on Sunday, May 24, at 4:00 PM.
