Come out take 10 items = Be a part of a world record!!!
In the next couple weeks we will pick a Saturday to do this…. Here is what we found out we need to do. We are shooting for 5-10k pieces of physical media to be given away!!
* We submitted for the Record for an official attempt*
1. Pick a Date for the event (thinking Aug 8th?)
2. Assemble as much free physical media as possible (we currently have 2,500 records, 2,200 CDs, couple hundred tapes, laser discs and 8-tracks to give away. If anyone wanted to donate things we can’t buy we will collect them for the event.
3. We need two independent witnesses (volunteers to monitor the event and verify and help log things.)
4. Camera setup recording the event
5. Limit of 10 items “per person”. Bring your family (so we need 500-1000 people to take 10 things!).
