World Premiere of Chasing Goals

Chasing Goals, a new documentary co-produced by the Kansas City Chiefs' own Foolish Club Studios, Trevor Noah's Day Zero Productions, and award-winning studio Wavelength, will make its world premiere right here in KC on August 29.
The story? Global FC, a Kansas City youth soccer club made up of refugee athletes from 29 different countries. The film follows the team with just 30 days to prepare for the prestigious USA Cup, on the field and back home in their real lives. Director Josh Gloer says he wanted to tell "a story about human connection" and the impact sports and community can have. 🌍⚽
It's the headline premiere of the brand new Full Tilt Film Festival, KC's first ever festival built entirely around sports storytelling, presented by the Kansas City Film Office. The two day event (Aug 28 and 29) takes over Union Station, the Crossroads, and the historic 18th & Vine District.
