World Mechanical Puzzle Competition 2026

Think you've got what it takes to solve some of the world's most ingenious puzzles?
Meepleopolis is excited to be hosting the World Mechanical Puzzle Competition 2026, an international event taking place simultaneously at more than 100 venues around the world.
Whether you're a seasoned puzzle enthusiast or simply love a good mental challenge, this competition is designed to be fun, accessible and rewarding for all skill levels.
On competition day, every participant receives the same set of seven brand-new original mechanical puzzles and has two hours to solve them. Each puzzle reveals a hidden word or number that you'll record on your answer sheet, with your score contributing to the worldwide rankings. The puzzles have been specially designed to test observation, logic, creativity and perseverance rather than requiring any previous puzzle-solving experience.
The best part? You get to keep all seven puzzles after the competition, giving you a unique collection to enjoy long after the event has finished.
