Celebrate World Lindy Hop Day with Heartland Swing!Join us Tuesday, May 26 at the Water Works Park Amphitheater for a special Lindy in the Streets pop-up dance celebrating Frankie Manning’s birthday and the legacy of Lindy Hop.
Swing dance is a joyful, social partner dance rooted in jazz music and Black American culture, and World Lindy Hop Day is celebrated around the world each year in honor of Frankie Manning, one of the most influential pioneers of the dance.
