World Kids Cultural Club : India Adventure
About this Event
Hosted by Afrodesiac — a lifestyle brand rooted in global culture, curiosity, and connection.
Welcome to the Afrodesiac Cultural Kids Club — a monthly workshop series created just for kids to explore world cultures through art, stories, music, food, and hands-on creativity.
Each month, young explorers will “travel” to a new country or cultural tradition without leaving the classroom. Every child will receive their very own Afrodesiac Culture Passport, collect a stamp for the country we explore, and create a meaningful art piece inspired by that culture to take home.
For this workshop, we’re traveling to India through the beautiful art of rangoli sand art.
In this beginner-friendly class, each child will create their own colorful rangoli-inspired artwork using vibrant sand, simple patterns, and guided designs. Kids will learn about India, Indian festivals, and the meaning behind rangoli — a traditional art form often created near doorways and gathering spaces as a symbol of welcome, joy, beauty, and good energy.
This experience is designed to help kids ask questions, appreciate different cultures, and express themselves creatively in a warm and welcoming environment.

🎨 About the Activity
Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form made using colorful materials like powdered color, rice flour, flower petals, or sand. These designs are often created during festivals, celebrations, and special gatherings to welcome guests and bring beauty into a space.
In this workshop, kids will create their own rangoli-inspired design using colorful sand and beginner-friendly templates. No art experience is needed — this class is all about creativity, learning, and having fun.
✨ Why Cultural Kids Club?
Afrodesiac Cultural Kids Club was created to help children explore the world with curiosity, respect, and joy. Through hands-on activities, kids will learn that every culture has stories, traditions, foods, symbols, and art forms worth celebrating.
Our goal is to create a space where kids feel excited to learn about other cultures — and proud to share parts of their own culture too.
Most workshops are scheduled after the school day.
