World Kidney Day Celebration

World Kidney Day is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide. WKD is celebrated every second Thursday in March. Many individuals and organizations around the world celebrate this day by organizing different activities aimed at raising awareness of kidney disease.

Narmada Kidney Foundation celebrates World Kidney Day by organizing various competitions. The Competitions are open to all with a separate category for student participants. The entry to the competition is free of charge and offers a chance to raise social awareness while earning praise & prizes. This is the best opportunity for everyone to spread the message of Kidney Care and Organ Donation. All participants will receive a participation certificate.

1. CARING CANVASES – Poster Making Competition: We accept Hand Made as well as Digital Posters for the Competition. The Hand Made posters should be made using pencils, crayons, water colours, oil paints etc. on minimum paper size of A4. The Digital Posters should be made using available designing apps / tools / software with 1024 x 768 resolutions with 4:3 screen size or 1280 x 720 resolutions with 16:9 wide screen.
2. SLOGANS FOR ORGANS – Slogan Writing Competition: This is the best opportunity to bring out your creative expressions and create awareness. The Slogans can be in any language like English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati but should not exceed 4 lines. We accept only original and unpublished Slogans.
3. AN ODE TO ORGAN DONATION – Poetry Writing Competition: Join the noble cause, express the best with Poetry! The Poetries also can be in any language like English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati. However, it should not be more than 28 lines. We accept only original and unpublished Poems.
4. KIDNEY CHRONICLES – KISSEY KIDNEY KE – Short Film Competition: Narmada Kidney Foundation invites films on Kidney Care & Organ Donation. The competition is sub-divided into Short Duration Films with run time up to 5 minutes and Short Film with run time from 5 min. to 10 min. Though there is no language bar for the films, sub-titles in English are preferred. We accept the entries of all types of films like story base, animated, documentary, song based etc. The films should be in MP4 format with 16:9 wide screen ratio. We offer cash awards for this competition.
