World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is a day set aside to call attention to the global problem of elder abuse. The purpose of our event is to provide education on what elder abuse is and how to avoid it happening to you. Our panel of presenters will address the following topics: Physical abuse, emotional abuse, financial exploitation, including scams, and steps that you can take to protect yourself or a loved one.
Registration is free, seating is limited. Lunch will be provided.
